Your inside look at the new Raven + Lily Flagship storefront
Our new storefront on Rock Rose at the Domain in Austin, Texas, is now open! What started as a dream almost a year ago, has finally come to life and we are thrilled with the results.
From our large Moroccan inspired arch that immediately captures your eye, to the minimalist brass wall hangings, each corner of the store was designed and created with care.
Our founder, Kirsten Dickerson, assembled a team of different talents and trades to help create this beautiful new storefront. Their diversity of skills helped bring together the vision for Raven + Lily at The Domain Rock Rose, while the subtle minimalist design allows our artisans' work to be the true centerpiece.
This store features many exclusives, including the Raven + Lily remnant stuffed animals, one-of-a-kind hand woven baskets, and new soap scents and shapes. We have also curated products crafted by artisans around the globe that align with our mission to produce ethical, thoughtfully-made items that consider people and the planet. These products offer modern, forward thinking, handmade designs, and we love supporting these like-minded brands.
Our stenciled floors and walls are not only a breathtaking party of the store, they are have a beautiful story. We partner with Royal Design Studio to offer an exclusive Designer Stencil Collection featuring Raven + Lily patterns, and this stencil collection has a positive impact on the lives of marginalized women and children around the globe. Twenty percent of the net sales on these designer stencils are donated to the Tirzah International initiatives in Ethiopia, Africa.
Our new store features an expanded home goods section that includes a cozy seating area conveniently located next to the dressing rooms. Having a bigger space has allowed us to display our comfy Moroccan poufs and wedding blankets, pillows from Cambodia and Pakistan, wood + brass table top from East Africa, and more!
Many of Raven + Lily’s designs are inspired by nature, so in turn we incorporated natural elements throughout the space, including whimsical terrariums, potted succulents, and cascading willow branches. The showstopper is the living wall installation created by Transplants Florals. Airplants, moss, mushrooms, dried flowers, and sea corral are all used to create this work of art. This greenery is a wonderful warming accent amongst our pristine white walls, reclaimed wood shelving, and brass accents.
Our leather bags have always been customer favorites. They are showcased beautifully by these handcrafted brass, wood and leather displays, created by Litmus Industries to give them the attention they deserve.
Our storefront not only features Raven + Lily’s full line of ethical clothing,, but we carry a specially curated vintage clothing section put together by Whiskey & Honey Vintage. We also offer ethically produced shoes by Fortress of Inca, Meyelo, and Sseko.
Raven + Lily’s roots are in jewelry design, and wow, what a joy it has been to see our artisan partnerships grow! We have expanded thoughtfully and now are so happy to offer such a wide variety of handmade, fair trade and eco-friendly products from a variety of partnerships and countries.
We welcome you to visit anytime! And when you do, be sure to take notice of the artisan quotes, photos, and special messages found through the store, walls, and dressing room. These messages were curated with care by our founder who wants you to experience the beauty and strength of all women worldwide!
We cannot thank all of our contributors enough!
