Due to the unique nature of recycled and mixed metals in our jewelry, some tarnishing is expected. Please note that many of the beads have a thin silver coating so they must be treated with care when cleaning. If you would like to restore the shine to your pieces naturally, create a paste of baking soda and water. Rub gently and then rinse with water and then polish dry with a soft cloth.

For daily cleaning, use a simple jewelry polishing cloth and store your cloth in a plastic zip-lock bag. Silver tarnishes in air, so smaller items can be put in air tight containers or zip lock baggies. And finally, we do not recommend wearing these jewelry pieces in extreme temperatures due to the metals retaining heat as well as interacting with perspiration.
